Meet our team of health and wellness champions and customer service superstars
Our team works in the community outside of our day-to-day lives and we have a huge mission – to bring virtual healthcare to every province in Canada! Our nurse practitioners are licensed and trained to provide you with holistic care. They’re also available to provide expert advice and coaching to keep you well over the long term.
Stefanie completed her nursing degree in 2008 and began working as an emergency nurse before completing a master’s program and receiving her nurse practitioner designation. Stefanie enjoys working with Wello clients to help them create a healthier lifestyle. She also loves spending time with her family – especially gardening with her two little girls.
After finishing her Family All Ages program, Kayla practiced in primary care as a nurse practitioner in the community. She learned about Wello and its focus on bringing health maintenance and treatments directly to clients’ homes and offices and joined the team in 2017. Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband and son, travelling and getting outside as much as possible.
She loves to serve others. We know this because she has four children of her own and was a surrogate mother to twins (!!). Julie has a gift for going above and beyond for her clients – this desire to help is what drew her to healthcare in the first place.
She graduated with Honours in Collaborative Nursing in 2002. For the past 15 years, she has worked in clinics and hospitals and continued her medical education, attaining both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree.
Originally from a dairy farm in British Columbia, Rachel loves to travel with her husband and two sons and participate in volunteer work such as community outreach with local refugee families and internationally in clinics in Guatemala and Haiti.
Aimee completed her Masters of Nursing for primary healthcare through the University of Saskatchewan. Aimee’s areas of practice have included primary care family practice, seniors’ health, executive healthcare and clinical research. She is an active advocate striving to advance the nurse practitioner practice, operating on the Board of Directors for the Nurse Practitioner Association of Canada (NPAC).
Outside of work, Aimee enjoys travelling, music, being active, trying new experiences and spending time with family and friends.
In 2016, Donna obtained a master’s degree and pursued working in primary care as a nurse practitioner. She joined Wello because she truly believes telemedicine is a practical tool for families when life gets busy. She is a strong advocate for patient- and family-centered holistic and preventative care.
Amanda received her Medical Office Assistant certification in 2002, and since then has learned to love tackling new challenges within her field, rooted in a strong understanding of medical systems. While she specialized in diagnostic imaging for 15 years, she’s now focused on educating clients on all of the things Wello nurse practitioners can do – to help them get well and keep well.
Eden graduated from Mount Royal University with a diploma in Disability Studies as well as a degree in Child Studies. She acquired her Unit Clerk certification and upon working in the community, found value and enjoyment in the healthcare sector, eventually joining the Wello team. Her favourite part of working at Wello? Her colleagues. She’s inspired each day by the amount of drive, motivation and passion her team has to grow Wello and touch as many lives as possible. In her spare time, she loves to travel, practice yoga, read and write.
As a medical care coordinator, Stephanie provides health education to clients, schedules appointments, acts as a liaison between clients and nurse practitioners and ensures high standards of confidentiality are maintained. Stephanie believes in living a positive, healthy lifestyle, and that a holistic approach is key to attaining – and maintaining – optimal wellness.
Born and raised in Calgary, Stephanie graduated from the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program at Bow Valley College in Alberta and spent eight years working as an LPN in the Emergency Department and Acute Care Unit of an Alberta rural hospital. She has also worked as an LPN instructor, in administration and as a clinical coordinator.
Meet the leadership team
We’re building a legacy and innovating healthcare delivery. Our team believes that the health of employees is critical to the success of a company, but also on a personal level. Healthy people do amazing things, and we’re committed to supporting the health of our members and improving their lives at work and at home.
After football, he turned to his true passion and became a health entrepreneur. The personal care he received as a cancer patient helped him understand just how important the nursing sector was to delivering a new level of care to Canadians. This was a big driver in his founding of our nurse practitioner service, Wello.
Vince is dedicated to delivering new models of innovation to healthcare. As the leader of INLIV (our parent company), he’s responsible for the cross-sharing of innovation learnings with executive teams, showing how innovation and technology can be adapted to an ever-changing workforce. Vince speaks nationally at healthcare and technology conferences. He has spoken at Telus Health (Toronto), Wello Health Lab (Calgary), and the Benefits and Pensions Monitor Conference (Toronto), amongst others.
He also spearheaded the development of iLab, which dedicates space, resources and funding to pilot innovative products and services that change the way Canadians access healthcare. The iLab was responsible for the 2017 launch of INLIV’s newest service, Wello, which provides virtual healthcare for employees across the country.
A popular family physician in Calgary for years, Dr. Wendy is committed to the highest medical standards, serving in various roles at the Alberta College of Family Physicians and the provincial College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Wendy also established Canada’s first registered medical spa and developed national safety and hygiene standards for the medical aesthetics industry.
Active in the Calgary community, Dr. Wendy can often be found singing with the Adult Recreational Choral Society in her spare time.
Sylvia is a one-of-a-kind leader who radiates resourcefulness, professional will, and humility—and always with a smile on her face. Outside of Wello, Sylvia has a passion for adventure—from Ironman, to hiking, yoga and skiing with her family—she is the kind of person who will always say, “Yes!”.
Sandra has plenty of experience in the field – having managed health programs for many large-volume employee-based services. Through her expertise in relationship building, engagement, onboarding strategies and reporting, Sandra brings an ability to create strong partnerships with corporations. With Sandra as a liaison, organizations can plan, set goals, get their employees involved, and create positive, long-lasting changes with Wello.
Sandra holds a master’s degree in Exercise and Movement Science from the University of Oregon, and has done extensive work in exercise rehabilitation, including both sports and work disability. When she’s not helping to create strong and healthy employees, Sandra loves travelling the world to find new cultures and new adventures.
When she heard about Wello, Kirsty was excited for the opportunity to work in the healthcare industry and to be part of a forward-thinking organization who values innovation and makes a difference in helping others.
Kirsty has been personally impacted by the life-changing difference healthcare can make. When she was a teenager, her father spent a year on dialysis before receiving a kidney transplant. When they found out her dad was getting a kidney, it was like winning the lottery – her dad had another chance at life. This experience made her appreciate healthcare and the value of preventing illness.
