What is your name and role at Wello?

My name is Sean Sandhurst, and I am the Marketing and Digital Experience Manager at Wello.

Describe a typical day as a Marketing and Digital Experience Manager.

A typical day for me includes developing and measuring ways to drive awareness of Wello’s benefits and generate opportunities for our sales team. Many days are spent meeting with internal and external stakeholders about projects. Working with the team to develop and execute methods to continuously improve user experience, lead generation and brand awareness and loyalty.

How has virtual healthcare changed your life?

I do not have to put my life on hold to go to the doctor’s office. Virtual health care has helped provide easier and faster access to medical care. I usually do not go to the doctor because of a very busy schedule. Having an appointment anywhere I am is very convenient.

What is the biggest challenge about the work you do?

The biggest challenges about the work I do is the speed of change and measuring the results of the marketing activities.

If you can be any superhero, which one would it be and why?

Superman for a number of reasons. He is fast and strong yet very empathetic.

It means being part of a passionate and driven team, providing innovative ways for people to access healthcare.

Working on the Return To Work project with a large group of stakeholders was quite amazing. It was amazing to work with a team of passionate, smart, and respectful individuals. Working together, discussing the good, bad, and ugly items in a respectful way made the final product better. The teamwork was exemplary and appeared as other core values as well: passion and growth! Everyone saw the opportunity and worked together to build an amazing product.
