What is your name and role at Wello? 

My name is Geoffrey Maher, Clinical Team Lead – East (current RTW callers Lead)

Describe a typical day as a Clinical Team Lead.

A typical day as a clinical team lead is busy. My role consists of managing requests and supporting staff members. Helping our teams navigate resources to empower them to make sound decisions that are evidence-based and recognizing decisions have implications or reflections of our organization, therefore, making decisions that both reflect sound patient care but keeping the organizations best interests in mind (budgets, staff, reputation, patient care and more)

How has virtual healthcare changed your life?

Virtual healthcare has opened my eyes to changing patient care models. I have used the service as well, and appreciate the ease of use.

What is the biggest challenge about the work you do?

The biggest challenge would be staying on top of the workload and balancing my work/home life.

I am a kind person who really wants everyone to be happy and laugh a lot.

If I could be any superhero, I would be my mom because she wanted the best for everyone. She was my superhero.
