Consider the “Core de Force” – mixed martial arts-inspired workouts!

What do we love about it?

Goal setting and variety are the true appeals of this app. And, aside from the variety of workouts, you’ve also got your nutrition covered with meal plans that you can customize!

  1. For those calorie-counters: My Fitness Pal (IOS, Android)

What it is:

Eating well but still feeling like you are gaining weight? My Fitness Pal tracks the calories and nutrients you’re taking in, and considers them with what you are burning through exercise. Use it to set custom nutrition and exercise goals, monitor your weight and measurements, and access more than 350 cardio and strength exercises!

What do we love about it?

The extensive database allows you to access nutritional information and calorie estimates for nearly anything you eat and drink. It’s truly like having a personal trainer in your hand! My Fitness Pal is ideal for learning about your daily eating patterns.

  1. For those who love the outdoors, running, and want to improve their cardio: Nike+ Run Club (IOS, Android)

Looking for the tools to improve your daily runs? Nike+ Run Club is the perfect running partner on your wrist! Monitor your pace, distance, elevation and heart rate with GPS run tracking, access a personalized coaching plan or get inspired by elite athletes on audio-guided runs!

What do we love about it?

Nike+ Run Club has so many tools to keep you motivated – from ongoing running challenges to  Spotify playlists aligned with each run. Plus, subscribers have access to a global community of runners. Push yourself by doing distance challenges with other subscribers or compete with your very own friends!

What it is:

What do we love about it?

When you’re looking for a full-body workout that you can complete in a short time, Keelo is ideal. Most gym workouts can take an hour and a half – and that doesn’t even include the time to get to and from the gym! Keelo workouts target different muscle groups using bodyweight and free weight workouts and all are conveniently structured to take well under an hour of your time!

  1. For the aspiring athlete curious about yoga and meditation: Asana Rebel (IOS, Android)

What it is:

What do we love about it?

If you’ve been put off by yoga classes with chanting and spiritual “gurus”, exercising in what feels like a sauna-heated room, or keeping up with a class full of double-jointed flexible yogis …  then you might like this alternative approach.
