Holistic Health: We’re Here to Follow-Up

At Wello, we take a holistic approach to your health, and that includes our follow-up process. We understand that wellness depends on a complex interaction of factors, from how well you eat and how often you exercise, to what health conditions run in your family and how you cope with stress.

For that reason, we know that keeping you well requires a lot more than just writing a few prescriptions or ordering the odd test. We look at the big picture and always follow up – it’s a key part of our in-depth, tailored and continued care model: get well, keep well.

Our Wello Nurse Practitioners will always follow up on your tests and interventions, and regularly check on the progress you’re making with your Wello Care Plan. At the request of our clients, we can also work closely with their specialist and family doctor, to make sure all the different aspects of your treatment are taken into account.

When you consult with one of our Wello Nurse Practitioners – whether it’s over the phone or through secure video and chat – they ’ll tailor a follow-up plan to your specific health needs.

For example, if upping your exercise is a wellness goal, we’ll regularly check in to give you the support you need to stay motivated. Or, if you’re assessed with strep throat, we’ll follow up in three to five days to make sure that the treatments we’ve recommended have it under control. And, we’ll always follow-up to discuss abnormal test results with you. For ultimate convenience, your test results can also be published on your confidential client portal to view.

At Wello, we’re committed to a care-driven follow-up process. We want to make sure we are always reassessing health concerns and tackling them with the best possible interventions!
