To arrange secure online video appointments with your Wello Nurse Practitioner, you’ll need a Medeo account and some basic technology.

Medeo is a simple and secure way to connect with your Wello Nurse Practitioner.

Step 2: Confirm your Medeo account
Confirm your account by clicking the link in the email you’ll receive from Medeo.
Step 3: Sign-in to Medeo
You’ll be directed to sign-in here.
Step 4: Begin your appointment
If you have an appointment booked it will appear in the upcoming appointments section. When you’re ready to get started, click “begin this appointment”.
List your symptoms and concerns when prompted, then “start your visit” and wait to be connected to your Wello Nurse Practitioner.
You can access video appointments using your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet, or your desktop computer.
# 2: Check your internet connection: Check that you have a fast WiFi or 4G LTE connection. Use a wired connection and disable your wireless connection when possible.
# 3: Get external devices set-up: Use high-quality audio/video devices (headphones, external microphone etc.) for high sound quality. Plug each device (camera, microphone, etc) directly into your computer’s USB ports when possible instead of a USB hub. USB ports are generally built into your flat panel monitor or are built into your laptop’s docking station.
# 4: Optimize your performance: If you’re using a laptop, avoid running on battery as it can reduce performance and video quality. If your computer has a Power Plan (all Window and Mac laptops do), choose “High Performance.”
Device Placement Tips
#1. Camera: Position your camera near your monitor and place the video conferencing window close to the camera. This will improve eye contact during your chat.
#2. Speaker/Microphone: Place external microphones on your desk directly in front of you and away from your speakers to reduce audio interference.
#3 Lighting: Make sure the main light source – a window or light – is in front of you, lighting your face.
#4 Stay in one place: Losing Wifi or mobile connection will usually drop video calls.
Additional video appointments tips
- Turn off other devices or turn them to silent mode

- Reduce background noise
- Bring the microphone close
